Gil provided excellent customer service. Even though we didn't do business because my attic was pretty much impossible to access without major changes, Gil and his team took the time to explain what were the challenges and limitations. He helped me troubleshoot and rebalance the air flow around the house, and provided some other useful tips on how to improve the efficiency of my house. I appreciated their transparency and honesty in not taking the job, and propose alternatives to what I wanted to do. Very different from other vendors that quoted me outrageous prices for a job that wouldn't have justified the investment. 5 Stars I had a fantastic experience with Avalon Home Performance. From the very beginning, the process was smooth and professional. Gil Franco was extremely knowledgeable and responsive, and the proposal was detailed and transparent. The installation was scheduled quickly, and they completed high-quality sunscreen installations on all sides of the home. I especially appreciated the clear breakdown of costs, the SRP rebate assistance, and their attention to detail—like including the small window by the front door without me even asking. Avalon Home Performance did a fantastic job installing new sunscreens on my house. I received a quote the afternoon that Gil met me at my house. I was put on the schedule as soon as I made the down payment. Detailed measurement was scheduled and happened later that week. The sunscreens were installed on the day they were promised and look fantastic. We also paid more a more sturdy sliding screen door in the back that is wonderful. Gil and his team did a great job adding insulation to my attic. They went above and beyond to also address air ducts that needed fixed to ensure the AC system worked as intended. During the consultation, Gil explained everything. He was thorough and helped me understand what he saw in my attic and what the plan was to fix it. As a novice, I appreciated all his insight. PSA he is able to give homeworkers the SRP rebate if he discovers your attic requires more instillation than what you currently have. These guys are awesome! I gave them a call because a couple rooms at my house just were super hot and even the drywall was hot to the touch. He came out and assessed it and noticed not only did I not have enough insulation but that it was the wrong insulation all together. Gil and crew are top notch in every way. I got mulitple bids, each with different ideas besides installing fiberglass insulation. I went with Avalon for the fiberglass insulation and a few other minor fixes. Price and quality of professionalism and knowledge won me over. Very pleased to have used this company. It felt nice to feel taken care of instead of being taken advantaged of! Good job Avalon!
