Gil and his team did a great job adding insulation to my attic. They went above and beyond to also address air ducts that needed fixed to ensure the AC system worked as intended. During the consultation, Gil explained everything. He was thorough and helped me understand what he saw in my attic and what the plan was to fix it. As a novice, I appreciated all his insight. PSA he is able to give homeworkers the SRP rebate if he discovers your attic requires more instillation than what you currently have. I’m very happy with the work Gil and his crew did on my attic insulation and sealing. They were honest, knowledgeable, did excellent work and went above and beyond to do the job right. I also appreciate the pictures provided during the estimate and upon completion of the work. These guys are awesome! I gave them a call because a couple rooms at my house just were super hot and even the drywall was hot to the touch. He came out and assessed it and noticed not only did I not have enough insulation but that it was the wrong insulation all together. Gil and crew are top notch in every way. I got mulitple bids, each with different ideas besides installing fiberglass insulation. I went with Avalon for the fiberglass insulation and a few other minor fixes. Price and quality of professionalism and knowledge won me over. Very pleased to have used this company. Very pleased with attic insulation. Made a big difference in keeping house warm and lowering electric bill. Estimate, follow up, and actual work were done in just a few days. Recently had my attic ductwork and insulation evaluated by Gil at Avalon Home Performance. He gave me a detailed list of issues to be corrected and recommended the correct amount of insulation that should be in my attic space. They arrived on time, created a clean space for their work, sealed every duct area and sprayed the attic with new insulation.
He gave me links to new spots for my interior lights to change so that there were no opening into the attic area.
Gil has done my rental home for me also. They arrive on time, do excellent work, explain every aspect of their installation and clean up what minor insulation is blown off the truck.
If you want someone that you can trust, is competitive and highly knowledgeable and professional this is someone that you should hire if you need to insulate your home.

Avalon Home Performance is the BEST! After talking with Gil, he came out to our home right away to give us a quote for extra insulation in our attic.  His attention to detail was outstanding and so was his quote.  Gil and his crew came out a few days later and did a wonderful job and went above and beyond what I expected!!! He supplied us with before and after pictures, so it was easy to see what an amazing job they did.  They even fix a few things when they inspected the attic. Great experience working with Avalon Home Performance! Quality work, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. After Avalon installed our 80% sunscreens, our son's nursery is not only cooler, but also gets darker for his naps during the day when we have his blackout curtains closed too--before there was so much heat and light coming in his window. Gil tested the room pressures of all bedrooms. I had two bedrooms that were warmer than the others.  He gave me some suggestions on how to get more air into those rooms.
